Menasha, Wis. (Nov. 13 2020) – Faith Technologies, an energy expert and national leader in electrical planning, engineering, design and installation, is honored to have two employees recognized among the top 2020 Women in Construction presented by Constructech, who seek to push the standards in the industry to make the world a better place for future generations.

  • Audrah Carstens has been with Faith Technologies for more than 13 years and has used her training and experience to contribute to the organization in a number of roles. Built on the foundation of her Electronic Systems Technician (EST) apprenticeship, as well as her BICSI certification, she is an advocate of supporting women in the industry, working with the regional technical college to educate them on opportunities in the construction trade.
  • Mary Wallander began her career at Faith Technologies 23 years ago, earning her electrical journeyworker license and then her BICSI technician certification, and used her knowledge on numerous types of projects installing systems from power, lighting, telecommunications and security systems. She took her field experience into her current position as a conceptual estimator, helping customers understand their system needs.

“Faith Technologies is very fortunate to have Audrah and Mary on our team, sharing their knowledge and experience with our field and office teams to contribute to our success and that of our customers,” said Mike Jansen, Faith Technologies CEO. “We appreciate Constructech’s recognition of them and all women in our industry, which aligns with our 5-year goal of women making up 25% of our field workforce,” he stated.

“We are beginning to see some progress being made among the number of women in the construction industry,” says Peggy Smedley, editorial director of Constructech magazine and president of Specialty Publishing Media. “It has been a tough uphill battle, but we are finally making a bit of progress, but we need to continue to be able to remain steady in the coming years. Congratulations to this year’s Constructech Women in Construction winners for all the hard work and commitment to others they have demonstrated already.”
