New facility to support clean energy manufacturing and create skilled jobs in Northeast Louisiana

Monroe, La.Faith Technologies Incorporated™ (FTI) is expanding to Monroe, La., and has begun construction on a 500,000-square-foot manufacturing facility that will create more than 200 jobs in Northeast Louisiana. The facility, located at 535 Highway 594, is being built with FTI serving as general contractor and is expected to be completed in spring 2027.

FTI delivers innovative solutions in engineering, construction, manufacturing and clean energy that drive industry growth and shape the future of energy. The new Monroe facility will support FTI’s Excellerate® brand, which specializes in modular electrical assemblies and energy solutions that enhance safety, productivity and sustainability.

The location will create skilled manufacturing and electrical career opportunities, beginning with openings for foremen, superintendents and manufacturing leads. Additional positions, including entry-level roles, paid apprenticeships and support functions, will be added over time to support operational growth and safety companywide.

“Monroe represents an exciting opportunity for FTI as we continue expanding our manufacturing capabilities to meet growing demand for innovative energy and electrical solutions,” said Pat McGettigan, executive vice president of FTI. “This facility will allow us to grow strategically while creating high-quality career opportunities and investing in the future of skilled manufacturing in Northeast Louisiana. We’re proud to bring our Culture of Care to Monroe and look forward to building strong relationships within the community.”

Local leaders also highlighted the project’s role in strengthening the region’s economy and advancing Northeast Louisiana’s position as a growing center for industrial development.

“FTI’s decision to invest $80 million and create 200 jobs in Ouachita Parish is a significant investment in our community and another strong example of the economic growth taking place across Northeast Louisiana,” said Shane Smiley, President of the Ouachita Parish Police Jury.

“The project will also serve as a catalyst for continued growth in the Millhaven area and further strengthen Ouachita Parish’s position as a key economic hub for the region. We appreciate the leadership and partnership that Grow NELA has provided in helping bring opportunities like this to Northeast Louisiana.”

Rob Cleveland, President & CEO, Grow NELA, added, “FTI’s investment in Ouachita Parish is another strong example of the regional ripple effects taking shape across Northeast Louisiana. Companies from all sectors, and from around the globe, recognize the opportunities for growth in our region, and parishes across Northeast Louisiana are beginning to benefit from the investment, momentum, and confidence those opportunities are generating.”

At the state level, leaders emphasized the importance of the project in advancing Louisiana’s clean energy and manufacturing economy while creating new opportunities for workforce development across the region.

“Louisiana is seeing the benefits of our historic economic momentum build on itself,” said Susan B. Bourgeois, Louisiana Economic Development Secretary. “As new companies continue to choose our state, we are seeing suppliers, partners and supporting industries follow. This announcement is another sign that Louisiana is building the business ecosystem and supply chain capacity needed to strengthen our competitiveness and create new opportunities for our people and communities.”
