FTI, ARCO Design/Build, Grow NELA and Ouachita Parish participate in the Excellerate manufacturing facility groundbreaking LA

Monroe, La. — Community, business and government leaders gathered to celebrate the groundbreaking of Faith Technologies Incorporated™’s (FTI) new Excellerate® manufacturing facility, marking the official start of construction on an $80 million investment that will create more than 200 skilled jobs in Northeast Louisiana.

The 500,000-square-foot facility, located at 535 Highway 594 in Monroe, will manufacture modular electrical assemblies and energy solutions under FTI’s Excellerate brand. The project represents a significant investment in the region’s growing manufacturing sector and is expected to be completed in spring 2027.

“Seeing this project move from vision to reality is incredibly rewarding,” said Pat McGettigan, Executive Vice President of FTI. “This is the first step toward building careers, advancing innovation and becoming a partner here in Northeast Louisiana. We’re excited for what lies ahead and grateful for the collaboration that has brought us to this moment.”

Representatives from FTI, Grow NELA, the Ouachita Parish Police Jury, ARCO National Construction and other local and state partners participated in the ceremony, recognizing the collaboration that brought the project to the region. Rob Cleveland, President & CEO of Grow NELA, said the project reflects the region’s continued economic momentum.

“Today’s groundbreaking is another milestone in Northeast Louisiana’s growth story,” Cleveland said. “FTI’s investment shows the confidence companies have in our workforce, our business climate and our ability to support advanced manufacturing. This project will create opportunities for families across our region while strengthening our area as a destination for industrial investment.”

Ouachita Parish Police Jury President Shane Smiley added, “This project is a tremendous win for Ouachita Parish and the entire region. The jobs created here will benefit our residents for years to come and this investment will continue to drive development throughout the Millhaven area. We are proud to celebrate this milestone alongside FTI and all the partners who helped make it possible.”

Louisiana Economic Development Secretary Susan B. Bourgeois added, “Louisiana is seeing the benefits of our historic economic momentum build on itself. As new companies continue to choose our state, we are seeing suppliers, partners and supporting industries follow. This groundbreaking is another sign that Louisiana is building the business ecosystem and supply chain capacity needed to strengthen our competitiveness and create new opportunities for our people and communities.”

A representative of ARCO National Construction, the project’s design-build partner, said the company is proud to help deliver a facility that will support FTI’s continued growth.

“Projects like this are successful because of strong partnerships,” said ARCO National Construction Matt White, President. “We’re honored to work alongside FTI and the local community to bring this facility to life.”
