FTI Receives Top Honor in Over Five Million Work Hours Category

MENASHA, Wis. Faith Technologies Incorporated™ (FTI), a national leader in engineering, construction, manufacturing and clean energy, earned first place in the Specialty Contractor division for companies completing over five million work hours at the 2025 Construction Safety Excellence Awards (CSEA), presented by the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of America.

This marks FTI’s fourth consecutive year winning in its division, reinforcing the company’s industry leadership and long-standing commitment to jobsite safety. FTI was also one of the 23 national finalists for the prestigious AGC Grand Award, which it previously earned in 2010 and 2020.

Presented annually, the CSEA program is one of the industry’s highest safety honors. Winners are selected based on their demonstrated commitment to safety excellence, innovation in safety practices and proactive risk management. FTI’s recognition reflects its exceptional safety record and deeply embedded culture that prioritizes the well-being of its team members.

“This recognition is a direct reflection of the culture of safety our team fosters every day,” said Rocky Rowlett, vice president of safety at FTI and chair of the AGC Awards and Recognition Subcommittee. “It’s not just about following protocols, but it’s about having a shared belief that safety is everyone’s responsibility. Our people take pride in looking out for one another, and it’s their vigilance that makes this honor possible.”

The CSEA program evaluates contractors across multiple categories based on total work hours. A panel of five independent safety professionals representing government, corporate and insurance sectors reviews each submission. Judging criteria includes leadership engagement, employee participation, training, hazard control and innovative safety solutions. Unlike awards focused solely on safety incident rates, CSEA takes a comprehensive approach to evaluating safety culture and continuous improvement.

In 2024, FTI safely completed more than nine million work hours, achieving a Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR) of 0.20, a Lost Time Incident Rate of 0.0 and an Experience Modifier Rate (EMR) of 0.38 – one of the lowest in the construction industry.

Finalists for the 2025 awards were invited to present their safety programs in person at the AGC Annual Convention in Columbus, Ohio on April 10, following a preliminary review at the AGC Construction Safety and Health Conference in January.
