May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and FTI is proud to be an advocate for mental health and recognize the importance of prioritizing the well-being of ourselves and our team members. Discussing mental health often comes with a negative stigma, which can prevent people from seeking the support they need. One important way to help break this stigma is by sharing stories and having open conversations about mental health. Sharing stories about mental health struggles and experiences can help others feel less alone in their challenges and foster compassion and growth in overcoming difficulties.
We’re honored to have highlighted the inspiring mental health stories of a few of our team members throughout the month on our social media channels. They’ve bravely stepped up to voice their stories, paving the way for a future that breaks the mental health stigma and fosters a supportive culture. In this blog, FTI team member Sam shares his story and emphasizes the importance of opening up and being vulnerable with those around you. Thank you, Sam—your courage is inspiring!
